Bhel Puri (Spicy Puffed Rice)
Ingredients:
- 2 cups of Puffed
Rice - 1/2 cup chopped
tomato - 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 cup chopped
coriander leaves - 1/2 cup boiled and mashed
potato - 3-4 chopped green
chili - 1 tablespoon chopped
ginger - 1 tablespoon
garam masala powder - 5-6 tablespoon
tamarind chutney - 5-6 tablespoon
coriander
leaves & mint chutney - 1 cup of Nimki or
Papri - 1/2 cup Sev (salted, crisp vermicelli)
- 1 cup of gol-gappas
- 2 tablespoon lemon
juice - Salt to taste
Preparation:
- Mix the puffed rice, tomatoes, onions, mashed potato.
- Mix all the ingredients (coriander leaves, green chili, ginger,
tamarind-mint chutney,
garam masala and salt) and add with puffed rice mixture. - Lightly crush the nimkis and gol-gappas and add with the puffed rice
mixture. - Add the sev and mix well.
- At last garnish with coriander leaves and lemon juice.
- Serve immediately.
