Murighonto (basmati rice with fish head)

Ingredients
1. 500 gm gobindavog rice
2. 1 medium potato
3. 2 medium onion chopped
4. 2 teaspoon ginger garlic paste
5. Medium size fish head, preferably
7.1 teaspoon cumin powder
8. 1 teaspoon garam masala powder
9. 1/2 teaspoon cumin seed
10. 1 bayleaf
11. 1red chilli
12. 2 elachi
13. 3 cloves
14. 1 pc 1/2 inch cinnamon
Preparation
1. Wash the rice and soak for 15 mins then drain the water
2. Deep fry the fish head until crispy and break it in small pieces
3. Heat 4 teaspoon oil in a pan
4. Fry the potatoes and keep aside
5. Add 2 teaspoon oil
6. Add 1 red chilli, 1 bay leaf, half teaspoon cumin seed
7. When the spices starts to crackle add the broken fish head
8. Add the fried potatoes and stir fry for a min
9. Add thme rice and mixed well
10. Add a spoonful ghee
11. Stir fry until the rice became slightly fried
12. Add 1 and 1/2 portion of water, ratio of water and rice is 1 and 1/2 : 1
13. Add salt according to taste with 1/2 teaspoon sugar
14. Cook in high flame and bring to boil
15. Lower the flame, and put a cover
16. Cook it until done
17. Now enjoy with fried fish or fish kaalia
