More About Mango Powder

Amchur is a sun-dried, ground green mango powder. It is used as a spice for
tenderizing chicken or mutton and also use as taste maker to give a sour and
tangy taste to dishes. It is main ingredients of refreshing drinks like Jaljeera,
Aam Panna etc. It is also used in Fruit salad, Pani-Puri, Paw-vaji, Dahi-Vada,
Bhel-puri etc.

India is one of the largest producer & consumers of Dried Mango Powder or Aamchur.
Andhra Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh are one of the main Aamchur producing Indian
states.
