Vindi/bhindi Vaji (okra fry)
Ingredients:
- 250 okra or vindi (washed & cut into medium round slices)
- 1-2 dried red chilli
- 1-teaspoonfull turmeric powder
Salt according to taste- 2-tablespoonfull mustard oil
Preparation:
- Heat the oil in pan, add chilli for sauté.
- Give the okra, add turmeric powder, salt & stir well.
- Cover & cook it for 4 – 5 min.
- Open the cover and spread the okra in a pan and fry properly.
- When it becomes light brown in colour, place it in a bowl.
