Tomato Chicken

Tomato Chicken



  1. Boil the tomatoes and peel off their skin.
  2. Heat ghee in a pan and add the onions and bay leaves and stir.
  3. When the color changes to golden brown add ginger paste, garlic paste, turmeric powder and red chili and stir well.
  4. Add the chicken when the mixture smells good.
  5. Then add salt, sugar and the boiled tomatoes, stir and add water.
  6. Cover and cook on low flame till the chicken gets fully cooked.
  7. Then add the poppy seeds paste and stir.
  8. Garnish with red chilies and serve.
