Shrimp with tamarind sauce (sour)
Ingredients:
- small shrimps (de-shelled) 75 gms
- black mustard seeds 1/2 tsp
- whole cumin seeds 1/2 tsp
- mustard oil 1tbsn
- coriander powder 1tbsp
- turmeric powder 1 tbsp
- cumin powder 1tsp
- tamarind paste 2 tbsp
- sugar 2 tsp
- green chillis 3
- salt to taste
Preparation :
- Heat oil in a pan
- Add black mustard and chillis
- When the mustards start crackling add the imli paste diluted with water
- Add the powderedc spices and mix well
- Cook under low flame without cover
- When the gravy becomnes denser add the de-shelled shrimps and cook for few more minutes with cover
- Add sugar and serve as the last dish of a meal
