Potol Vaja (palwal fry)
Ingredients:
- 7-8 Potol (palwal) (wash, deshell & cut into two pieces each vertically)
- 1-teaspoon turmeric powder
- Salt to taste
- 1 cup of mustard oil (for deep frying)
Preparation:
- At first marinate the patal with turmeric & salt.
- Heat the oil in a pan.
- Give the patal pieces in a pan.
- Fry pieces both side until light brown.
- Keep them on paper napkin to soak the excess oil.
- Enjoy Potol vaja with Plain
rice, Masoor dal
or Mung dal &
begoon vaja.
