Phul-kopir Dalna (cauli-flower recipe) 

Ingredients: 

Preparation: 

  1. First soak the cauli-flower pieces into salt water for 15 min. 
  2. Then drain the water and wash properly. 
  3. Heat the oil in a pan & fry the flower till light brown and keep aside. 
  4. Heat the oil in a pan and add cumin seeds for sauté. 
  5. Then add onion & fry it till brown. 
  6. Then add potatoes & cooked it for a min. 
  7. Add pre-fried flowers. 
  8. Add ginger paste and turmeric, cumin, coriander powder. 
  9. Add salt & sugar to taste and add tomato. 
  10. Cooked it for 10 min, when the gravy becomes thick, the dish is ready. 
  11. Serve it with roti, paratha etc.
