Palang Dal (Lentil with Indian spinach)

Ingredients:

Preparation:

  1. Boil the Lentil in a pressure cooker and keep aside.
  2. Heat the oil in a pan, give kalonji, chilli and garlic for saute.
  3. Add spinach and fry in a low flame.
  4. When the spinach becomes soft add pre-boiled dal.
  5. Add turmeric powder, salt and sugar to taste & stir well.
  6. Cook it for 5 min in a low flame.
  7. Enjoy Palang-dal with steaming Plain rice and Palang-bori torkari.
