Mutton Vindaloo Recipe
Ingredients:
- 500 gm Mutton [Lean goat meat]
- ¼ cup chopped onion
- 1 tbsp tamarind extract
- 1 tsp vinegar
- 1 cup boiled potatoes
- 1 tbsp Oil
- 2 – 3 whole cardamom
- ½ tsp cumin seeds
- 1 ½ tsp garlic
- 2 – 3 whole red chilies
- 1 tsp clove
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1 ½ tsp chopped ginger
- ¼ tsp turmeric
- ¼ tsp cinnamon
- ½ cup chopped tomato
- Salt to taste
Preparation:
- Grind all the Contents of the masala into a smooth paste, with water.
- Heat oil in a pan
- Sauté the chopped onion till it turns translucent.
- Now add the masala paste and mutton and mix well.
- Add water, cover the pan and let it cook for a while.
- Now add the tamarind extract, vinegar & boiled potatoes & simmer for 3-4 minutes.
- Mutton Vindaloo is ready to serve with Plain
rice or Roti or Paratha.
