Matar Paneer

Matar Paneer (dried peas & paneer curry)

Ingredients:

Preparation:

  1. Before boiling the matar, rinse it properly.
  2. Boil it in a pressure cooker & keep aside. But do not drain the water.
  3. Medium fry the paneer cubes till brown and soak in water for 2 min .
  4. Heat the oil in a pan & sauté the bay leaf and add onion.
  5. Add ginger-garlic paste.
  6. Add powder spices (turmeric, chili, coriander, cumin) and chopped tomato.
  7. Add salt and sugar to taste & mix properly.
  8. When the gravy becomes thick add the pre-fried paneer cubes and cook it
    for 2 min.
  9. Add pre-boiled matar and cooked it for 10 min.
  10. Then sprinkle the garam masala powder.
  11. Matar-paneer is ready enjoy it with roti,
    paratha, puri etc.
