Lau-dal (mung dal with lauki) (veg)

Ingredients:

Preparation:

  1. First wash the dal properly.
  2. Boil the dal & lauki separately and keep aside.
  3. Heat oil in a pan, add bay-leaf, chilli, cumin seeds & ginger paste for
    sauté.
  4. Add pre-boiled dal, lau and cook it for few sec.
  5. Add turmeric, cumin, coriander powder, salt, sugar and cook it for 5-10 min.
  6. The dal is ready to serve with plain steamed
    rice
    , shak-vaja,
    aloo-vaja, aloo-karela vaja.
