Honey Chicken


  • 500 gm frying chicken
  • 1 cup of honey
  • 1/2 cup of butter
  • 1/4 cup of lime juice
  • Salt to taste


  1. Put the chicken in the roasting pan.
  2. Take a saucepan, add honey and butter in it and heat till bubbly.
  3. Remove it from the flame.
  4. Add lemon juice and salt to it, mix well.
  5. Baste the chicken and bake it in 325 degrees F oven about 1-1/2 to 2 hours.
  6. Baste it with the sauce for about every half hour.
  7. Serve hot.
