Chichinga Vaja (snake gourd fry)
- 3-4 Snake gourd (wash and cut into round slices)
- 1 onion (cut into slices)
- 1-2 dried red chilli
- 1-teaspoon turmeric powder
- 2-tablespoon mustard
- Salt and sugar to taste.
- Heat the oil in a pan, add chilli and onion for sauté.
- Add chichinga and fry it well.
- Add turmeric powder, salt and sugar and mix well.
- Cook it for 10-12 min in a low flame with cover.
- Open the cover and spread the chichinga in a pan and fry it until light brown.
- The chichinga vaja is ready and serve it with steaming Plain rice and
Masoor dal or Mung
