Chholar Dal (Pea pulse recipe)

Ingredients:

Preparation:

  1. First wash the dal properly and boil it but don’t drain the water.
  2. Heat the oil in a pan & add bay leaf, cumin seeds and ginger paste for sauté.
  3. Add the pre-boiled dal and cook it for few min.
  4. Add coconut, turmeric powder, salt and sugar to taste & cook it for 5 min with cover.
  5. Sprinkle garam masala and serve it with luchi
    or paratha.
