Begoon-chingri Torkari (a preparation of potato,
brinjal & prawn)

Ingredients:

Preparation:

  1. Heat the oil in a pan, fry the brinjal and potato separately & keep aside.
  2. Heat the oil in a pan, saute the panch phoran.
  3. Add onion & chilli and fry it well.
  4. Add marinated prawn and stir in continue.
  5. Add pre-fired brinjal & potato.
  6. Add turmeric powder, salt & sugar to taste and mix well.
  7. Add water and cook it for 10-15 min in a medium flame with cover.
  8. When the gravy becomes thick, stir it properly.
  9. Serve the Begun-chingri with steaming Plain
    rice
    .
