Uppittu (Spicy Vermicelli)

Ingredients:

Preparation:

  1. Boil the water and remove from gas.
  2. Add vermicelli, let it stand for 4-5 min, after that drain the water and keep aside.
  3. Heat the oil in a pan, sauté the mustard seeds and green chili.
  4. Add chopped onion and fry until light brown.
  5. Add pre-boiled vegetables and fry it properly.
  6. Now, add vermicelli, salt and pepper to taste and mix it carefully.
  7. After that remove from fire and sprinkle the lemon juice on top.
  8. Serve hot.
