Khurma
Ingredients:
- 2 cups of
whole wheat flour - 1 cup of
white flour - 4 tbsp ghee
- 2 cups of sugar
- a pinch of salt
Preparation:
- Make a stiff dough of the flours, ghee and salt.
- Roll 1½ inch thick.
- Cut squares.
- Deep fry till golden and keep aside.
- In a saucepan boil sugar and water till you have a thick two-strand sugar
syrup. - Keep it warm on the flame.
- Dip in the squares in the sugar syrup and drain quickly.
- Serve it cool.
