Kancha Kadali Bara (Spicy Plantains Cake)

Ingredients:

Preparation:

  1. Properly wash the plantains and potatoes well. 
  2. Put it in a pressure cooker with water and cook it for 2 to 3 minutes. 
  3. After that peel the skin of the plantains and potatoes and mash them well. 
  4. Now add gram-flour, chopped green chilies, chopped onion, chili powder, coriander leaves, grated coconut and salt to taste, mix
    them well. 
  5. Make a smooth dough.
  6. Heat the oil in a non-stick pan, make kebabs from the dough and shallow-fry them.
  7. Serve hot. 

Note: Also try the recipe without the use of gram-flour (besan).
