Gahat ki Fannah (Lentil in Uttaranchal style)
Ingredients:
- 250 gm
Kulad dal (lentil) (soaked in plenty of water) - 1 teaspoon ginger
paste - 1 teaspoon
garlic paste - 1 teaspoon red
chili paste - 2 tablespoon
mustard oil - Salt to taste
- Water (to needed)
- 3 tablespoon fresh
coriander leaves (to garnish)
Preparation:
- Heat the oil in a pan and then sauté the ginger-garlic pastes that
prepared earlier and fry it until the raw smell is wiped off. - Add lentil to it.
- Next cook them on a low flame for at least 5 minutes and then add water
and salt. - Mix well and then cook again, at least 10 to 15 min, or check out until
tender. - Garnish it with coriander leaves then serve it hot with
Black and White Roti.
