Roti

Roti (Indian bread):

for 4 people and 4 roti for each

Roti is the main food of north and south and west India

Ingredients:

  • 500 gm atta (unrefined or fibrous flour)

  • A pinch of salt

  • one spoonful sugar
  • 2 spoonful mustard oil

Preparation:

  1. Add the mustard oil, salt and sugar in the whole amount of the atta and mix it homogenously

  2. Knead a dough

  3. Divide the dough in 16 balls
  4. Flat the dough balls

  5. Bake it on chatu or tawa

    Roti is prepared and you can have it with sabji or dal
