Card Rice
Ingredients:
- 500 gm Basmati rice
- 400 gm plain curd
- 1 teaspoon asafoetida
- 1 tablespoon mustard seeds
- 1/2 cup of fenugreek
leaves (methi leaves) - Salt to taste
- 4-5 tablespoon vegetable oil
Preparation:
- Wash the rice properly and cook as plain rice.
- Marinate the pre-cooked rice with plain curd and keep aside.
- Heat the oil in a pan, sauté the asafoetida, mustard seeds & methi leaves.
- Add marinated rice, salt according to taste and mix well.
- Card rice is ready.
