Potato with Aniseed
Ingredients:
- 500 gm baby
potatoes - 2-3 tablespoon
aniseeds paste - 1 tablespoon ginger
paste - 2 tablespoon
green chili paste - 1 teaspoon turmeric
powder - 1 teaspoon kashmiri
red chili powder - 2 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 cup of mustard
oil - Salt according
to taste
Preparation:
- Boil baby potatoes with 1 teaspoon of salt, peel them and keep aside.
- Heat some oil in a non-stick pan, fry the boiled potatoes and keep them
aside. - Heat oil in a pan, sauté the aniseeds paste, green chili and ginger paste.
- Fry all the spices well, then add turmeric powder, kashmiri red chili
powder. - Add pre-boiled potatoes, sugar, salt and half cup of water.
- Cook until gravy becomes thick and dry.
- Serve hot.
