Makai ka Bharta (Spicy Corn Recipe)

Ingredients:

Preparation:

  1. Boil the whole corn, take off the niblets and grind it coarsely in a blender.
  2. Heat oil in a pan, sauté the cumin seeds and stir fry till they crackle.
  3. Add chopped onions and stir fry till light brown.
  4. Add chopped green chilies and stir fry for 1-2 min.
  5. Then, add red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder and
    salt to taste.
  6. Stir fry for few seconds and add chopped tomatoes.
  7. When tomatoes are cooked and properly mix with corn, add little water.
  8. Stir fry for another 5-10 min.
  9. Serve hot with chopped green coriander.
