Hilsha with mixed vegetables



  1. Heat the oil in a pan, fry all the vegetables lightly and keep aside.
  2. Heat the oil in a pan, sauté the onion paste and fry it well.
  3. Add fish pieces, including head and fry it properly.
  4. Add turmeric-chili-coriander powder, salt & sugar to taste and stir it well.
  5. Add 1 cup of water and cook it for 10-15 min in medium flame with cover.
  6. When the gravy becomes dry, turn off the gas.
  7. Serve with steaming plain
