Aamla / Aamlakir Achar (Gooseberries Pickle)
- 500 gm gooseberry
- 2 tablespoon turmeric powder
- 2 tablespoon red chili powder
- Salt to taste
- 3 cup of mustard oil
- Wash and boil the berries properly.
- When berries becomes soft, drain the water and keep aside.
- Marinate the pre-boiled berries with turmeric, chili powder, salt according to taste.
- Keep the marinated berries in a glass jar and pour it with mustard oil.
- Close the jar properly and shake it well.
- After 2-3 days it will be ready to use.
