Ussal Paw (Mixed Vegetables)

Ingredients:

Preparation:

  1. Heat the oil in a pan, fry the onions till they turn brown and keep aside.
  2. Roast all dry ingredients (dried coconut, fennel seeds, coriander seeds, cumin
    seeds, whole garam masala, pepper corn, red dried chili) till brown.
  3. Add ginger-garlic and roasted onions to the roasted ingredients and grind to make a fine paste.
  4. Cook the soaked peas in a pressure cooker and leave aside.
  5. Heat oil in a pan and sauté the crushed garlic and curry leaves.
  6. Fry the garlic till brown, now add grounded paste and fry till oil is separate.
  7. Add tomatoes and cook it well.
  8. Add boiled peas and salt and cook it for 10 min in a medium flame with cover.
  9. When the gravy becomes thick, turn off the gas.
  10. Sprinkle chopped coriander leaves and enjoy it.
